Welcome to my blog!

Good Morning,
Just wanted to report on my third left wrist surgery 09/28/2009. The surgery was performed under anesthesia, it lasted more than an hour. The surgery was performed by, Dr. Massey, a Plastic Surgeon , specializing in Peripheral Nerve Surgery.
No more VA Doctors working on my wrist!

We wont know the percentage of feeling gained from this surgery, until the nerves have had time to heal. I understand nerves are very slow healing critters. There will be a fourth surgery in 6 months. Dr. Massey will remove the titanium plate, and six screws installed during my second wrist surgery, and attempt to lengthen the tendons in my fingers enough, to hopefully allow me to straighten the fingers again.

Here is the reason behind this update, At my pre-op appointment I asked Dr. Massey that no pain medications be administered after surgery. I asked, that my wife Sandy, be allowed to patch my wrist in the recovery room,
I also went to surgery,” with the permission” of the anesthesiologist, wearing Icewave on kidney 1 points, tan left, white right. I also was wearing a Glutathione patch on my belly button.

I’m happy, to report, that this is the second surgery in 4 months, that I’ve used nothing for pain, except Lifewave Patches. The patch is my choice for pain control.

For the first time, I went to surgery wearing a Glutathione patch on my belly button.
Normally after having anesthesia I fell drugged, the whole day of the surgery. and sometimes the following day.
Wearing the Glutathione patch, I’ve had none of those awful side effects,  that I normally experience from anesthesia. I honestly didn’t even feel as though, I even had been administered anesthesia. If it weren’t for the bandage on my arm I’d forget I even had surgery. Is that awesome or what? Next time you or anyone you know is scheduled for anesthesia, wear the Glutathione patch!

It’s been less than 24 hrs. since the surgery, and I have no pain. “why” look at the attached photos, for the answer.
